Fixes #217. Add methods to the AD util class to convert to and from AD timestamps. Refactor existing methods in AD class to use these.

- rename getActualValue to getCurrentValue

Restablish deprecated method getAttributeValueById (removed in r744). Log a warning regarding future removal.

Fixing build: String.isEmpty() is not available in Java 1.5. Maybe we should migrate to 1.6, but fixing for now anyway.
