free typing of CLIF server names in the test plan editors
Test plan editors (Java Swing-based console and Eclipse-based console) enforce the user to choose a CLIF server among actually running ones. As a consequence, the user must run the CLIF registry and all the necessary CLIF servers when editing a test plan. It would be convenient to freely enter CLIF server names without running the registry and the CLIF servers. However, it should be still possible - but optional - to pick a CLIF server name from the registry.
